Stone Town
Stone town and its buildings are full of history and ancient stories on
Zanzibar. Guests will visit the Cathedral, Slave Markets, the Sultans Palace, Tip Tip’s
House, the Old Arabic Fort, the fruit and vegetable market, Forodhani Park and the famous
Zanzibar Doors in the petite streets. We offer a half day tour of Stone Town that can be

Island (Prisoners of Stone Town), Jozani Forest & Butterfly Center (Zanzibar’s nature and
its Capital) and Sunset Cruise. It all depends on the guest’s preference.

Spice Farm
A tour of one of Zanzibar’s Spice Farms is a must do on the island. During a
walking tour through the farm, guests will be shown and explained each and every spice one
can find in Zanzibar. After being fully packed with knowledge, our guests get time to buy
spices, soaps and cremes which are all handmade by the community within the farm and can
enjoy a traditional weaving class. We offer this tour as a half day trip, in combination
with Stone Town (Stone Town served on Spices) or Jozani Forest & Butterfly Center (Fauna
and Flora served on Spices).

Jozani Forest & Butterfly Center
During a guided tour through the Jozani National Park, guests will see the
different species of monkeys, impressive trees and plants. Guest will uncover the magical
world of the Zanzibar mangroves while walking along the wooden trail. This tour is
combined with a visit to the Zanzibar Butterfly Centre to learn about the life cycle of a
butterfly and see them flying in close proximity. We offer this tour as a half day tour or
as a full day tour including local lunch in combination with Stone Town (Zanzibar’s Nature
and its capital), Spice Farm (Fauna and Flora served on Spices), The Rock Restaurant
(Fauna and Flora served on the Rock) or the Seaweed Centre in Paje (Zanzibar’s nature and
community).

1000 Hands Of Zanzibar
On this half day tour, the guests will get the chance to see the typical village
life of Zanzibar and the turtle sanctuary in Nungwi. The guests will be taken to all the
places where the real and normal life of a typical Zanzibarian happens. What they do with
their hands is incredible.

Safari Blue
SAFARI BLUE (the Original): Leaving from Fumba, which is in the South East – and
still a very untouched and remote area in Zanzibar, guests will head on a trip in a
traditional wooden dhow towards one of the three snorkeling stops to enjoy the unique
underwater world of Zanzibar. On the way they will hopefully meet dolphins playing around
in the shallow Marine Park of Menai Bay and depending on the tides they’ll swim at a very
special island full of mangroves. On the secluded uninhabited island Kwale, they’ll enjoy
a delicious lunch.

Seafari – Mnemba Atoll
After heading, with a dhow, from Kendwa to the stunning Mnemba Atoll – and with
every possibility of seeing dolphins along the way, our guests will stop at Mnemba
Kitchwani Reef and at Coral Gardens for snorkeling. This amazing reef with steep slopes
offers some great under water topography and a chance to see amazing corals and a lot of
different species of fish. A snorkel guide will also be in the water pointing out all of
the little camouflage and the tricks most people’s eyes miss. At the end of the trip our
guests will enjoy a mouthwatering lunch and relax on the beautiful secluded beach of
Muyuni Beach.

Tumbatu Island
Tumbatu is one of Zanzibar’s best kept secrets as the vast majority is forbidden
from setting foot on the island. To enter the island, you need special permission from
the elders of the Tumbatu community. Although this is the island where, in the 11th
century, the Shiraz built the first stone building in the entire Zanzibar Archipelago,
you won’t find cars or scooters as there is only one road to walk on throughout the whole
island. On this full day tour, leaving from Mkokotoni by boat, guests will visit the
school of Jongowe and the house of a fisherman’s family. Our guests will also be told
about the daily life and the secrets of Tumbatu – as they are also famous for witch
craft.

Seaweed Farm
Visit the Seaweed Center to learn about Seaweed farming which is the second
biggest industry on the island. Located in Paje, this social enterprise creates
opportunities for female seaweed farmers to improve their standard of living and engage
in economic development activities that benefit the whole community. Depending on the
tide it is possible to see how the women harvest their seaweed. You will visit the
processing center and factory located in the village. Here you’ll get the rare
opportunity to see how the seaweed gets transformed into desirable beauty products like
organic soaps and essential oils. We offer this experience as a half day tour or as full
day tour combined with the Jozani Forest and Butterfly Center (Zanzibar’s nature and
community).

Sunset Cruise
This 2-hour boat trip can either start from the Northern Coast of the Island, to
watch the world famous sunset of Zanzibar’s North Coast or it can start from Stone Town
where you can enjoy the best view of the capital from the water. Snacks and drinks are
provided on the traditional wooden dhow and if the wind allows the crew, they will sail
like the traditional fishing boats while you listen to traditional Zanzibar music.
